Parishioners of all ages are welcome to attend any Friday. You are not sure what to do during the Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament? Remember, you are in front of the Real presence of Jesus himself. Check out this link for a guide how to spend a few minutes in adoration:
For toddlers it is recommended only 5 minutes in adoration. Older kids could stay in adoration for 10 or 15 minutes. (All minors accompanied with a parent/guardian). After you visited the Blessed sacrament with your children, take them the park or for an ice-cream or treat and make it a pleasant time.
Teens can spend up to 30 minutes. Spiritual articles or books are useful. Adults are welcome to stay an as long as possible but if you only have a few minutes that, is ok. All the rays of grace that the Lord will pour on you will be worth every second. As Father James says "Adoration is a way to create sacred silence in our week; a time to look at Jesus, and he looks at us."
