2024 Hike: STANLEY GLACIER HIKE
Angels on High 2024 - The adventure awaits.
Date: August 10, 2024
Meet at St Gabriel School parking lot at 6:30am. Or at the trailhead by 8:45. We will start hiking by 9am.
11 km length
Driving Directions:
Go west of Calgary on highway 1 for 158km to Castle Junction. Then turn south on highway 93 over vermillion pass for 15km. The parking lot is on the left (east) side.

Hike Description:
Expect to see amazing mountain views, glaciers, lots of waterfalls and big cave that one must walk through a waterfall to enter (optional).
This hike will take about 3 hours uphill there and another 3 hours back. Bring your packed lunch to eat at our destination.
This is one of the prettiest hikes in the Rockies. It is a dog friendly hike. Dogs need to be on leash. Hiking boots are highly recommended.
Distance: 11km.
Difficulty: Moderate
Elevation gain: 568 m

2024 Pledges and Donations
Hikers are encouraged to collect pledges that will support the building of our church.
100% of all donations and pledges to AOH hikers will go to our Building Fund.
Hikers who have not received a pledge sheet, please request one to the parish office at [email protected] Thank you!
Additionally, AOH donations can be deposited at our parish in the collection basket. For online donations, please use the diocesan link, where you can select our parish and Building Fund option:
