Worship Ministries

We are here to serve through the liturgical need of our Parish.


  • Mass Coordinator - sets up for Mass and ensures ministers are present for the celebration.
  • Altar Server - children who have received First Holy Communion, who assist the priest in the celebration of the Mass.
  • Music Ministry - share your musical talent to enrich the parish's praise of God, either as a leader of song, singer or an instrumentalist.
  • Lector - proclaims Scriptural readings at Mass.
  • Children's Liturgy of the Word - Provides children aged 4 –10 an opportunity to experience the Sunday scripture readings in an age appropriate way. Prepared lessons are provided for the leaders. Leadership opportunities for youth who have been confirmed. 
  • Eucharistic Minister - assists in distributing Holy Communion at Mass.
  • Pastoral Care- brings the Eucharist to those in the community who cannot attend mass.
  • Usher - welcomes and directs people to available seating, assist with the Communion procession, takes up collection and hands out bulletins.
  • Projector Operator - operates the computer and projector for the hymns and prayers used at the Mass in coordination with the music ministry.
  • Collection Counter - counts the weekend collection on the following Tuesday morning.

Faith Formation

“So what do you really mean by faith formation?”


  • Baptismal Preparation - presents prepared material to instruct new parents on the Sacrament of Baptism at 2 hour session.
  • Sacramental Preparation - helps prepare children for the Sacraments of Initiation: First Reconciliation, First Holy Communion and Confirmation.
  • Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) - assists adults in learning about and becoming members of the Catholic faith through weekly sessions of discussion, prayer and study.

Community Life

The parish community has a special role, promoting partcipation in the Parish.


  • Knights of Columbus (K of C) - Catholic men's group that supports all aspects of parish life and provides men with the chance to live out their faith.
  • Catholic Women's League (CWL) - supports Catholic women through fellowship and  spiritual enlightenment.
  • Prayer Ministry - regularly pray for the needs of the parish and for anyone in need.  Organize prayer meetings and retreats.
  • Young Adult Ministry -meets Saturday nights after the evening mass. It is an opportunity to share faith with other young adults in the parish. Young adults are age 18-35. 

Parish Leadership

  • Parish Council - is the consultative body that helps the parish foster parish activity.
  • Parish Finance Council - provides stewardship over the parish's financial and physical assets.
  • Building Committee - participates in such as fundraising design, artwork and engineering to build our new church.
